Traditionally energy has been produced from fossil fuels such as coal and oil which as well as creating greenhouse gasses that lead to climate change they will one day become exhausted. Renewable energy is mostly derived from inexhaustible sources that include the sun, the wind and the sea. There are also replaceable energy sources such as crop based fuels and waste products.

The Solar Thermal System - Using solar collectors the solar thermal system uses the free energy from the sun to heat water that is pumped through it, which in turn heats the water in a tank that is used for domestic hot water.
The Solar Photovoltaic System - Solar photovoltaic (PV) uses energy from the sun in the form of light to create electricity that can run appliances and lighting.
The Wind Turbine System - Wind turbines use the winds force to turn a rotor which generates electricity.
Heat Pumps - Heat Pumps are 300 - 400% efficient. They take heat from either the air or the ground; this heat is then passed to the hot water store via a plate heat exchanger. They provide flexible & economic heating whilst helping to minimise the environmental impact.

There are four models we supply; the Torrent, Torrent 'RE' (Renewable Energy), Sunspeed and the StainlessLite Cylinders. The Sunspeed, StainlessLite and Torrent 'RE' are Alternative Energy products so are therefore better for the environment, they are fitted with an additional coil which helps to store energy produced from solar ready for use when required.
