Over the years I have tried different vets such as Stewarts & Black & Partners, and had unfortunately lost pets unnecessarily. For example on a couple of different occasions our pet Guinea Pigs back teeth had over-grown, which required them to be filed down. After the procedure had been done (on both occasions) our pets teeth had been filed so low they could not eat anything so we had to syringe feed them for weeks. The same thing happened with our rabbit where they had cut the front teeth too short, so yet again the same problem (this was many years ago and things have probably changed since then). So this led me to look for a different vet. I love my pets and have always had a lot of them so it was important for me to find the right vet. I came across St Georges Veterinary in ‘Sedgley', not ‘Dudley' as mentioned in the comment above. There isn't one in Dudley! I found the Vet at this practice second to none, he genuinely loves animals and is extremely well qualified as Vets go, if you go onto St Georges website you can see for yourself. I have had numerous amounts of pets treated at this practice all having the utmost care and attention and no problems! I think that user ‘Xela G' may have gotten a little confused over things. If your pet required an X-ray then it would have been sent to the St Georges Veterinary Hospital in Wolverhampton, which has always been the procedure and that would have been explained to you in the Practice, therefore it would have been quicker for you to have taken your pet there yourself. The Sedgley practice is small and everybody that takes their pets to this practice knows that on the odd occasion you may need to make a trip to Wolverhampton, which isn't a problem and I'm sure that if it were a problem then your pet would have been collected and taken to the hospital by them. I do not think you have been at all fair in your comment about them and sound as if you have only been there on the one occasion. Perhaps you we're stressed or just one of those awkward people that likes to moan about everything!

Although the vets and nurses are pleasant, the organisation skills at this practice are far below what i would expect them to be. Ten hours for an animal to be x-rayed is not satisfactory at all. Total confusion over bill settlement also did not help matters. I have now changed to a practice with a more competant practice manager.
