What we offer

Nestling in the heart of Maidencombe, a pretty picture postcard village in the Torbay
countryside but only 300m from the beach is the beautiful Thatched Tavern.

Drink or Dine in the cosy bar and cottage with roaring log fires in the winter, our light and airy restaurant or Al Fresco in the fantastic award winning garden that surrounds the pub.

Dine

Food is all about great flavours and the highest quality fresh produce, with local suppliers providing
meat reared to organic and free range standards, fish from day boats & vegetables from local farms.
Our menu is varied and includes pub favourites, the finest steaks, fresh fish and dishes for the
more adventurous. Three Roast Meats & Nut Roast available Sunday Lunchtime.
Our Famous Pies Galore Menu is available everyday, but is highly discounted on
Monday-Thursday Lunchtime and Evening and Friday Lunchtime.
All our food is cooked to order by our Head Chef & his team.

Stay

Our two cosy en-suite rooms have been designed with your comfort in mind and are situated on the first floor
of the Original 17th Century Cottage part of the building. An idyllic retreat where you can relax and unwind.
Facilities include freeview flat screen televisions, free wi-fi, hairdryer, Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels,
bathrobes, slippers, luxury toiletries, wide selection of beverages, bottled water and a decanter of sherry to help you relax after your journey. Full English and Continental Breakfast selections are served at a time to suit you.
