Our business is totally dependent upon our printing and scanning facility. Without it we start to go into panic mode. This happened last Thursday afternoon when we experienced a paper jam. Any amount of poking about with a variety of implements could not release the offending blockage. At the point of desperation, I phoned Martyn Hazelwood if there was any possibility of having his service engineer in the local area who could call and fix the problem. Within one phone call he said that an engineer would be with us within 30 minutes. In fact, amazingly he arrived in ten minutes! Two minutes later and the paper jam was removed to both our relief and embarassment at how easy it had been in the hands of a professional. Whilst we do not have a service contract with TBM we were amazed and pleased by the speed of service. Whilst we couldnt always expect to be that lucky, I have no doubt that it is a massive benefit of my BNI membership that I can call on the owner of TBM who can arrange to sort out problems in double quick time. We would therefore have no hesitation in recommending TBM's services and in particular their speed of response to call-outs. PS: The reasonable call-out invoice arrived almost as quickly as the engineer and we were pleased to pay it by return as the service enabled our business to continue with uninterrupted service to our customers.

As part of the financial services I provide my clients, the quality of the advice and products we offer is very important to both me and St. James's Place. As part of that service it is important that the printed material reflects that goal. We recently decided to upgrade our printing and scanning facilities, to provide colour charts and wealth summaries as part of our service, along with double sided printing to reduce our use of resources. This also need us to move to duplex scanning. Martyn took a considerable amount of effort to research the market to provide us with a cost effective solution that could perform all of our requirements in a relatively small machine that would be efficient, saving both time and running costs. Having now had this multifunction printer/scanner/copier/fax for over a year now, I can report that it does exactly what we want, has saved us both time and money in a significant reduction in the cost of toners over the period.
