had car 3 mths turbo has gone can't move the car they don't seem interested Allison.greenwood@thecarfinacnecompany.co.uk never returns call or emails (47 emails not one returned) the case has been with the 2 mths and still no news!! Worst customer service ever

I bought my car from the car finance company Portsmouth. When I got there wasn't sure of where I was so I rang to ask for directions and they sent someone out to pick me up. The staff were very friendly and gave me a good choice of cars to choose from. I got my car the same day and everything is going great. The only problem I had this month they didn't text me a code rang them up and it was dealt with immediately and 2 days later I had a manager ring me and apologise for the mix up couldn't ask for anything better

Disgusting customer service from agent and Team Leader

My husband called in on the 30th December, and spoke to an agent to advise that our payment was going to be late. The agent advised that this would be ok as long as we made payment by the 10th January. No mention of late fees was mentioned. We have just phoned them and OMG how RUDE and INCOMPETENT their staff are. No calls are recorded so no record of the conversation my husband had on the 30th December and no notes on the system either. So when they mention there is a late payment charge of £62 we were gobsmacked to say the least. This company have no customer service skills what so ever. They talk over you, they don't listen to what you are saying, even the Team leader has no customer service skills . I'm even sure that it wasn't even a manager i spoke to, as no manager would speak to a customer the way that they did. Not once did they apologize, all they were interested in was getting my money. I would highly recommended to anyone DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

The Good. Being a customer that has had bad credit in the past and unable to get regular finance The Car Finance Company accepted me with no problem so I was happy! I got a car and drove away the same day I signed!. The rep was great, He took me through all the figures and the T&C's. He was very transparent and gave a great service! Excellent! The Bad & Very ugly. Costs! Being they type of company that they are they do have an elevated interest rate which is understandable but what I feel is unreasonable is the "Admin / Acceptance fee" £895 is a little excessive but over 3 years it's not that bad so I decided to go ahead (not like i'm gonna get finance anywhere else and they are well aware of this). Customer service All the time everything is going well the customer service guys are good, English call centre and generally happy to help! However... My car got written off because someone drove into it while parked, My insurance agreed to pay out but as I had only had the car 4 months there was a £300 deficit and for some reason this meant me speaking to the collections team. NEVER in all my life have I spoken to a ruder unhelpful bunch of people.. I spoke with 3 advisors all with the same chip on there shoulder, bare in mind the incident was NOT my fault yet I still got the same bad attitude, I had to ask one of them to stop shouting at me! That should NEVER be something you say to someone who is apparently there to help. I actually can't express just how rude they are. My insurance company advised that they will not release the cheque until the car finance company agreed that they would sign over the written off car to them, TCF declined as "That's our procedure, tell the insurance to just send the chq" All this time my monthly finance payments still had to be paid. I find myself having flash backs and getting angry. I work in technical support and used to just imagine Vodafone customer service to remind myself what a difference the tone in your voice makes to the person on the phone.... No more, I just call the local rate number for car finance company and just listen to the "im watching something on youtube, why are u ringing me" voice and im back on track. In summary once my finance is paid off I won't be going with these guys again. Basically I have paid around £1000 to have a car for 4 months and have nothing to show for it! other than high blood pressure. The costs are higher but kinda understandable but the customer service from these guys is absolutely SHOCKING! Unhelpful attitude and down right RUDE... Who shouts at customers when they are making around £2k from a single customer?!
