This man is a fraud. He produced a waterfall and pond for us in December 2012 and took a great deal of money from us. It leaked from the first day it was built. He never answers the phone as he selects who he wants to call back, naturally he does not return calls to people who he has done work for - he also never replies to e-mail. The job specifications stated he would use a Butyl Pond Liner. I contacted Butyl and sent them a sample of what he used, which they kindly analysed - their lab told me "its 0.30mm +/- 0.05mm thick Polyethylene. This is a material which would be used as a damp proof ‘oversite’ membrane. Basically a low budget general building material. The woven material which presumably has been supplied as a puncture resistant material is another general building material similar to Terram which is used for road building. In our opinion neither of these materials are appropriate for lining ponds whatsoever." You absolutely MUST avoid this man and NEVER retain him to build your water feature. He even stiffed a local B&B for the charges incurred by his workmen when they stayed at their place during the build - utterly unbelievable!!! My experience is not unique, if you do a google search for the man and scan down below the first 5 or 6 you will see lots and lots of complaints - he is con man, nothing more and nothing less.
