Anthony Wilson Hypnotherapy is located in West Wales and covers Swansea, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. We have consulting rooms in Swansea, Carmarthen, Haverfordwest and Whitland.
Anthony has been in practice for over 24 years having qualified as a stress management consultant and hypnotherapist. He is the South Wales regional contact for the Hypnotherapy Association and in 2003 was voted among the top 10 hypnotherapists in the UK by the Independent and the Hypnotherapy Association.

About Anthony Wilson Hypnotherapy

Anthony has been in practice for 24 years having qualified as a stress management consultant and hypnotherapist after 2 years study based in Derby where he obtained a fellowship status. Three years of counselling study followed at Swansea College under the aegis of Newport University and the B.A.C rules.
Following several traumas in his life and being a single parent to two children, he is well placed to offer extended empathy and understanding of client's problems.
He has treated thousands of clients from 5 - 85 years of age and particularly enjoys working with phobias and childhood problems.
He is the South Wales regional contact for the Hypnotherapy Association and in 2003 was voted among the top 10 hypnotherapists in Britain by the Independent and the Hypnotherapy Association.
Most sessions are recorded for a client's home use in between sessions. One to one consultations are the norm although Anthony is happy if clients wish to bring a friend or relation into the consulting room.
In a radio broadcast Anthony said that although he was professionally trained as a non-judgemental practitioner, he is proud of his extended empathy and compassion to every client he works with.
His enthusiasm of helping thousands of clients to turn their lives around is compelling and obvious to witness.

Hypnosis and therapeutic hypnosis

Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness in which the subject becomes receptive to suggestions and changes in attitude, which enable them to face up to or deal with outstanding and troublesome aspects of their life. This frees them from the negative restrictions that they themselves have suffered within their personality.
Therapeutic hypnosis is used to enable the client to achieve harmony in mind, body and spirit. It is the relaxed feeling we get just before falling asleep at night or just as we awaken in the morning. It is not a loss of consciousness but rather a change in awareness as when we become immersed in a good book or some enjoyable pursuit.

Hypnotherapy treatment is provided with strict confidentiality, care and consideration. We will always keep you fully informed as to the likelihood of success, the costs involved and the duration of your course. We provide personalised audio CDs for most sessions.

Phobias

Among the many problems clients bring me, I have had an incredible number of phobias and have found these to be cured to a high success rate, and of great interest to me. There are over 300 phobias and the number is growing.
