10 years after my conservatory was built the floor is collapsing. When I ring the company they promise that someone will get back to me and no one does. I've called in a builder who has inspected the damage. Underneath the floor should have had sharp sand over the mud, a plastic membrane over that with a concrete screed. None of that has been done and I'm looking at damp mud directly under the floor. The joists have rotted through and need replacing. They didn't use engineering bricks at the base of the walls. Water has soaked in through the brickwork and has added to the damp. The mortar has turned to sand in places leaving holes in the walls where more water has come through. The air bricks do not line up with the vents on the inner wall meaning they are useless. All the electrical wiring is bare i.e. they have not used trunking and have not pinned it up. The wires were left trailing in the wet mud. The repair will cost £10,000 or more. Avoid like the plague.

So Pleased
We'd defiantly recommend Ken Rhodes conservatories. We used them some fifteen years ago for our windows, their professional approach and after sales service prompted us to use them at our new house where they designed and fitted our beautiful orangery conservatory. We had a slight problem with water over flowing from our gutter but within 36 hours the problem had been rectified. This turned out to be our fault as over the years leaves had blocked the outlets, however they cleaned these out at now extra cost or call out charge. What a great Company! Toni and Colin Essex
