Very good food and service
Food is of a very high standard, the menu has a lot of choice and their service is very good. If there is a large party a table should be booked in advance and also you can order your food in advance. the restaurant is very popular so there can often be a wait there is a nice lounge area at the bar with seating to wait. There is entertainment in the form of a singer who also takes requests and a magician. Some dishes are cooked at the table which is very enjoyable to watch and larger tables have a turntable which is useful if sharing dishes. They also do takeaway food with a 15% discount from normal menu prices.

A wonderful place for a celebration
We celebrated my dads birthday here recently - we'd taken some table decorations but when we got there they'd added ballons too - a very welcome touch.We'd perused the menu at length so had an idea what we wanted - the staff were welcomng and no pressure was made to order quickly.All of the food was very fresh and arrived withough too much delay. All of the soups were delicios and we then had the combination a great mixture of wontons, prawn toast, spring rolls, seeweed and a great mixture of pickled vegetables which really cleansed the palat.The mains courses were a delight - 2 of our party had sizzling dishes which were prepared n front of your eyes. other dishes sampled were sweet and sour chicken and salt and pepper prawns. The chicken was lovely adn the prawns although a little hot were tasty adn plentiful.The entertainment for the evening was provided by a male vocailist who although very unobstrusive had a great voice and added to the atmosphere.All in all a great nght out and highly recommended.The Lotus Garden have just released the christmas 2008 menus and a retun visit is definately on the cards!
