Excellent food, service, surroundings
Understand this has been taken over. We have been here on a Saturday night and a Sunday Sept 08.10 people on both occasions. Excellent food. Sirloin and Rib-eye recommended with real fat chips! Sunday lunch delicious with local produce and fresh veg. Service excellent and friendly..

Stands out
By far the best place to eat in the area. Nowhere in the local area comes close for quality of food and dining experience. I've eaten there several times over the last few years and each time the food has been superb. The staff are also friendly. Their 2 courses for £12.99 (Mon-Thurs night & Mon-Sat lunchtime) is a great deal. Interesting menu that is always changing.Downstairs is the bar which is perfect in the winter sitting by the log fire on the leather couches, sipping on a mulled wine or hot toddy. Heaven.
