Well what a start to the New Year, VAT increases means more expense to all! As for my New Years Resolution I am reducing my rates for new customers for the first 4 hours which means that new customers can have a trial for just £10 per hour. I am even spreading it over a month.I spoke to one of my priority customers today who said that having all the services at the same rate was much better for them. For example I went in this week and was there for two hours. During that time I typed a report, filed all the news cuttings, parcelled the ebay items up, chased twelve ouverdue invoices and updated their facebook page ( oh and answered the phones too ). They like the flexibility and they always have different things for me to do. I think the most memorable thing I have done for them last year was researching 100 local businesses they wanted to market, posting out Feng Shui candles and following up with courtesy calls! The candles were a MASSIVE hit ( and it helped it was the Chinese New Year ) Plus I wangled a free candle and learnt all about Feng Shui.....
