The Rutland Cleaning Company can undertake Very Low Moisture (sometimes falsely referred to as dry carpet cleaning by other companies), Low Moisture and water extraction techniques, depending on what is most appropriate for your needs.

For most situations the appropriate method will be water extraction. We use a thorough 12 stage cleaning process. Using our advanced system, and the most powerful extraction machine available, together with the use of a post clean dryer, your carpets should be dry within 2 hours.

Once the carpets have been cleaned we can offer stain protection that will keep your carpets looking cleaner for longer and with a higher resistance to staining and wear.

The Rutland Cleaning Company can also clean your rugs using the same methods. The majority of rugs can be cleaned at your home but others will benefit by removal for a more extensive deep clean at our premises. Certain rug types will benefit from a full immersion cleaning process and for those rugs we engage a trusted associate to undertake this very specialist type of cleaning.

Pre-clean inspection to establish carpet construction.
Identify areas of concern including spots, stains, heavy soiling or issues over the fitting of the carpet.
Fibre test to establish the pile fibre to ensure that the correct cleaning solution and technique is employed.
Removal of furniture and preparation of the room for cleaning.
Thorough vacuum of the room using our Sebo professional upright cleaner. This vital step can remove up to 80% of dry soiling from the carpet.
Treatment of any spots of stains identified during the earlier inspection using our ‘spotting' kit containing over 15 specialised products to deal with all eventualities.
Pre-spray of the carpet using our selected detergent free cleaning solution.
Agitation. This is a vital part of the process as it ensures that the cleaning solution is distributed evenly throughout the carpet fibres to ensure a deep clean. We have a number of machines available to perform this task dependant on carpet type including rotary, oscillating and heavyweight CRB machines.
We then rinse out the solutions using only fresh water and extract using the powerful twin vacuums of our Jaguar 6.6 machine, the most powerful portable extraction machine available , to ensure that your carpets are as dry as possible.
We then assist the drying process with the use of our ‘whole room' dryers which assist in circulating the air, noticeably speeding up the drying process.
We then replace all you furniture, and where necessary place them on plastic pads to ensure there is no transfer between the carpet and your furniture.
Finally we groom the carpet pile to ensure a uniform appearance and to further aid drying.

We also clean upholstery and curtains

Upholstery cleaning is a more exact science than carpet cleaning with an even greater range of fabrics, often mixed together on the same suite. That makes then susceptible to damage by using inappropriate techniques or chemicals. We use advanced techniques to ensure a deep clean using either low or very low moisture methods that prevent damage being caused to the fabric and assist in fast drying.

As with carpets we only use eco friendly, detergent free, sustainable plant based products that leave no residue on the fabric and are extracted using only fresh water.

We also use the Sapphire Pro upholstery tool to maximise cleaning and minimise wetting. Unlike the old style hand tools still used by most carpet cleaners the Sapphire Pro gives amazingly fast drying times for the benefit of you and your upholstery. We also use turbo dryers to speed up the drying process.

In addition we can also clean your curtains in situ. By doing so this you avoid the need to take down and then re-hang your curtains for cleaning at the dry cleaners and also the subsequent time without your curtains. The low moisture methods we employ also reduce the risks of shrinkage inherent with the dry cleaning process , where in fact your curtains are fully immersed in solvents. Most dry cleaning companies allow for up to 5% shrinkage.

By using the Sapphire Pro handtool, and using advanced techniques, we can limit the amount of moisture going into your curtains, thus reducing the risk shrinkage but at the same time producing crisp and clean results using our specialized cleaning solutions.
