The Sussex Wine Company is dedicated to finding unique products, and with the launch of our Sussex in the Cellar Wine Club we can now offer you a regular case of wines from boutique producers, delivered direct to your door monthly or quarterly.

The Sussex Wine Company is an independent online wine merchant, based in East Sussex, founded on a few basic but fundamental principals:

Having been involved within the wine trade for 15 years we noticed that prices went up, quality went down and branding grew stronger. We had begun to question the techniques used to create mass market cheap wines found in the multiple retailers that often involve mass chemical use.

We concentrate on listing quality wine and spirits from around the world, all produced with attention to detail both in the vineyard and the winery, at realistic prices. Mass production and forcing prices down in order that we only pay the barest minimum per bottle will do more to damage our choices of quality wine, and the industry as a whole by putting the smaller quality producers out of business.

As an independent business we are faced with the challenge of changing expectations and buying habits of consumers nationwide. Working closely with our suppliers, every product is hand picked and does not compromise our core values.
