Do not shop here

NO STARS it wont let you submit without highlighting them though We bought some tiles only to be told that they could no longer supply them however we could go the store and get a full refund. When we made the ten mile special journey to the shop we were told we could not have a refund as the person who had sold the tiles to us was on a day off and no one had access to his code for the till. This is company policy and there was apparently nothing anyone could do. We were advised to return to the store two days later. I rang and spoke to the regional manager who also informed me that this was company policy and that when I go to the store in two days time I may once again not leave with a refund as there may not be enough money in the till. I am only owed £140. I was offered a cheque but wish to have the cash as I do not want to have to wait for the cheque to arrive and then wait for it to clear. I just want my cash back ! The regional manager had no solutions and was unable to to make sure that there will be money in the till, despite Tile Giant having two stores in Hull and it being a large national company. It seams to me that this company just tries to make it as difficult as possible to get a refund and the managers appear completely incompetent at managing.
