Darren from Tom Ford responded to an urgent Beko washing machine repair this morning. The machine was promptly fixed (a brush was worn out on the motor) as he keeps an inventory of spare parts in his van, so there is no need to order the part and return later to install. Great service for a very reasonable price.

Prompt response. Good repair

Brilliant Company

Bosch Washing m/c repair: I found this service company through the yellow pages having never heard of them before and cannot recommend highly enough the first class service they give. It is a well established family run business and easy to see why they are so popular. After speaking to Tom himself when booking the appointment I came off the phone not only confident they would do a good job but also with a feeling I had known him for years such was his friendliness. Darren his Son-in Law came to do the repair and displayed the same level of friendliness, knowledge and professionalism as his Father-in Law. Excellent service!

I really recommend this company for washing machine repairs. I found them on Google on a Monday and arranged a repair visit on the Wednesday - the company is in Ruislip but they came to us in West Hampstead. The guy I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and didn't rush to get me off the phone, unlike a lot of other companies. Darren came to do the service and fixed our washer dryer for the cost of the call out - £30, bargain considering he was at our flat for around 40 minutes. In fact my boyfriend was so impressed he tipped him as he felt it deserved more than the standard call out charge. Excellent service, would definitely use again.

Washing Machine door seal

I rang Tom Ford after we fitted a new door seal on our Hotpoint washing machine which started to make a horrible noise, Darren came to have a look at it very promptly and found that even though we had fitted it correctly we had been sent the wrong part from the internet company we went to. Hence Darren fitted the correct seal and all is perfect. Fantastic service and very reasonable. I had used Tom in the past to replace a Hotpoint washing machine motor, this meant that the washing machine went on for another 10 years and was 16 years old when we replaced it with the current one.

Old school quality

Just had our first baby and within a week of being at home our trusty Bosch washing machine decided to trip out the electrics. Bosch wanted a fortune just for a call out (excluding parts) in 10 days time, I called Tom Ford on Monday morning and got a tuesday appt. Machine was fixed within an hour, for cost of part + £25 labour/call out. Engineer was great, polite, and most importantly knew exactly what he was doing. The most devastating experience is to return from a holiday to discover that your washing machine isn't performing - in our case no spin. So left with a sopping wash. I needed someone to look at my washer dryer to determine if it was worth repairing or if I'd be better off purchasing a new one. I found this company using a Google search & subsequently called. I spoke to a lovely Gentleman who took the time to listen to my garbled explanation of what I thought was happening! An appointment was duly booked & the man arrived on time. He very quickly determined what the problem was & whilst he could repair it advised me that as my machine was under 5 years old I'd be better off speaking to Hotpoint & ascertaining what they could do. He further explained that he believed they did an option whereby you could pay a fixed amount over 12 months which would cover the cost of all the repairs & guarantee the work for a year. A phone call to Hotpoint duly confirmed this & I have an engineer booked for tomorrow. It's refreshing to know that someone is prepared to advise you as to what is best for you. They could easily have repaired the machine at a greater cost to what I am now paying. A great service, would recommend to anyone considering using them.

Service like it should be

I cannot recommend Tom Ford highly enough. Our Candy washing machine developed a fault, and because it was a few months out of warranty, the manufacturers quoted us £180 for repair. We called Tom Ford, and a repair man came out very quickly and fixed the job in minutes for just £25. The repair man (didn't catch his name) was friendly and refreshingly down to earth. He even showed me how to fix the same fault myself in future (rather than keeping it to himself to ensure future custom). We were delighted with the service, and if we experience a fault again in future, we'll go straight to Tom Ford and not even bother with other companies (including the manufacturer). This is how all companies should treat their customers!

Honest appliance repairers with a zeal to please

Ridiculous prices one normally gets quoted for a faulty machine naturally makes one go for a new one while there may be life in present one. I was pleased to see Tom Ford came up with a very reasonable price to visit. to check out our dead appliance. The process of booking & subsequent care to inform us of time of visit meant no time was wasted waiting around. Darren, the gentleman who visited was in fact a little ahead of the appointed time. It took him no time to home in on the fault. Alas, the damage to circuit board & cost involved rendered it uneconomical to proceed, but the reasonable price of £25 justified the excercise. Darren also gave invaluable advice for the next machine. Thank you & you come highly recommended without any reservation. May you prosper as a company as we need more like you.

Quality Excellent Service

My washing machine was having trouble getting rid of water causing it to remain in the drum & leaking out from the front door during the Queen's Jubilee Bank Holiday. I tried to fix the problem as I couldn't get hold of anyone. Called Tom Ford, explained the problem & within the hour sent Darren. Problem was resolved in around 30mins. Excellent and promp service, engineer arrived the next day despite it being a bank holiday. Machine too expensive to repair but great advice given on purchasing a new one and model types to avoid. Didn't try to sell me repair work that was uneconomical to me and recommended I get a new machine. I would most definitely recommend to my friends and anyone who needs help with their washing machines. Save yourselves money and stick with these guys.

very friendly service on telephone, very helpful when phoning, was put at ease straight away, very prompt response well pleased with the friendly engineer and would highly recommend this company to other people.

Excellent!

What a nice service! Called in the afternoon, next day at 9am the engineer called Darren came around and fixed my washing machine straight away. The lady on the phone was very nice and helpful. Darren was brilliant. Very pleased! And very good price!

Absolutely Brilliant

I texted several of my friends to find an engineer to repair my washing machine and two of them gave me Tom Ford's name. I rang in the afternoon and by 9.30am the next morning, Darren was at my door. By 10.30 the washing machine was up and running. The service was OUTSTANDING and I would recommend this company to anyone. Thank you so so much.
