Circus Skills Workshops and Performance for Children, Young People and Adults

Top Banana is a community circus based at the Guildhall Portsmouth. Established in 2010 as a community arts project, we now run circus skills and performance workshops for all ages, and offer training and work opportunities for talented young people aged 17+ years.

Our workshops are fun, physical and challenging, and are a great way to take part in an exciting creative activity. Participants develop new skills, have a great experience and exceed their own expectations.

As well as our regular Saturday and Sunday sessions, we offer master classes with specialist practitioners, workshops and drop-in sessions for community groups and organisations, and circus activities and entertainments for public, private and business events.Recent clients include First Wessex Housing Association, The Portsmouth Green Fair and Picnic, Highbury College and the Southsea Show.
