Experience began with sewing as a child and the interest grew into a small business. Once a professional standard was reached, work started with doing alterations on bridal wear for local bridal shops. This lasted for several years, although today work is principally done for K T Bridal in Broseley. An interest in Victorian dress developed and a few years ago, it was decided to expand skills particular to this. Suitable courses were taken at a specialist school of sewing, learning about corset design and pattern drafting as well as honing some other skills. This has enabled some terrific projects to be undertaken, such as, presenting a local radio presenter with a corset and modifying a bridesmaids dress to a corset design to satisfy customer requirements. With a fully fitted workshop, a professional service can be given for corset design and also dressmaking alterations.
