Join our Dance Family! We specialize in Ballet, Jazz and Musical Theatre for children 2+.

We LOVE teaching and we aim to be more than somewhere your child dances once a week. We have special treat days such as we have an Easter Egg Hunt, End of Term Discos, Halloween party and Santa visits at Christmas!

We want every child to leave with a big smile having learned loads and had a blast!

Up In Lights Dance Academy - Where everyones a star!

We are a team of Passionate, Creative, Highly skilled Dance Teachers based in the Maldon area, running weekly hour and a half dance classes as well as a selection of one day musical theater workshops during the holidays.

All our classes are relaxed and friendly to get the best from our students and help their confidence grow. We provide performance opportunities and the option to gain your IDTA grades in ballet and jazz.

We teach with creativity, love and passion and aim to make every child feel special.

We also run Musical In A Day Workshops over the summer holidays combining Dance,Drama and Singing with Arts and Crafts. We create mini versions of our favorite musicals ready to perform to parents and guardians at the end of the day.
