Urban Krav Maga takes the best from the established reality based self defence systems and blends them with street techniques of traditional arts to form a devastating new style.

With elements of Krav Maga, Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and common sense; you will learn not just how to move but how to think; we teach options, not rules.We welcome people of all abilities, the basics are crucial so we will always work on them. During our classes you will find a welcoming atmosphere where we do not stress, because the best way to deal with anything is to remain calm and collected.​ Urban Krav Maga Newcastle is the first of its kind for the Tyne and wear area. Urban Krav Maga Newcastle though new is based on the combined experience of all the instructors throughout the world.


EXPERIENCE BASED TEACHING

With over 15 years' experience in Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Aikido and krav maga; 3rd Dan Black Belt, Karl Dance has taught people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. A registered instructor with the British Combat Association, Karl has studied under many experianced practitioners including 4 time world BJJ champion Leo Negao. In recent years he has worked in the security industry, using his skills and relaxed attitude to secure locations across the UK; from football matches to Jobcentres, night clubs to crown courts, he has dealt with almost every type of situation.
