Disappointing

Having seen numerous positive reviews else where I felt confident using this garage. Unfortunately the price was as high a a main dealer and when I received the car back the breaks were not responding as they had before the service / mot. I took the car back to be told the abs pump unit needed replacing despite there being no abs warning light illuminating. I was told it would be £300+ to replace the part depending on weather I wanted the one they had in the garage (bought as a job lot from the main dealer?) or a new part £500+. Opting for the cheaper one I then received a call to say they would have to put a new one on as the ones they had were not compatible - having had enough I wanted to get my car for a second opinion and was told I could collect it for £140!! On collection I was told the breaks seemed to be working better but was advised not to drive it? My girlfriend negotiated and the only positive thing I can say is they reduced the bill to £70 - for as far as I can see doing nothing. The main dealer advised the abs light would have come on if there was a failure. I do not know what to think as the breaks were fine when I took them in, faulty when I initially received the car back and working as before after they did nothing to repair the alleged fault. I have still not had any additional work done to the breaks. Will never ever use again.
