We're a professional company with years of experience based in Hedge End, operating all around Hampshire and surrounding counties. Over time we have built up a great clientele carrying out FIRST CLASS Tree Surgery and supplying the best hard and soft wood logs and kindling in and around Hampshire.
We have a great customer base due to our friendly and trusted service and our staff are always happy to welcome new customers sharing our knowledge and love for Arboriculture and firewood.

When it comes to our Tree services it's refreshing that all of the team genuinely care for and very much enjoy working in the industry. We have regular ongoing custom domestically and commercially. We are also proud to have worked for various local authorities.
I started logging at the the age of 13 learning from my father who has been running a log business for 40 years.

I decided to learn more about the industry as trees have always been a passion of mine. I decided to start small tree team that has developed in experience and size over the years. Covering all aspects of tree care and tree maintenance .

The team are extremely friendly, hard working and all with the relevant skilled qualifications. No job is too BIG or SMALL whether it commercial or domestic mindful to carry out all work to the British Standard 3998. Giving the customer what they want is important to us from the initial phone call to the site visit. As long as both parties agree on professional work being undertaken in accordance to the laws .

Here at W.G.S. we take immense pride in the fact we leave all work sites very tidy and also recycle almost 100% of our waste. Including wood chippings, hard wood and soft wood we also mill up timber for furniture. We cut all our wood and allow all timber to air dry and season until at the right moisture content for either Firewood or furniture. We cater for all orders no matter how small or large.
