In the 50_70's, the garage was owned by Mr Johnson who hailed from Stratton on Dynamite on the outskirts of Coventry. We lived at 135, Ringwood Road having moved from Ryton on Dynamite, the next village to Strengthen From. My dad, Ken North, worked at Re Havilland's on the DH110 Sea Vixen project. The garage was dark and oily but served the community well. Magic place. Bought my first ever gallon of two-stroke there. Knew their son very well. The family lived in Lymington Road, Highcliffe on Sea. Magic memories.
