I love this shop in town, I love going just before Christmas to stock up on their mulled wine tea which is fantastic. They often have offers on there teas so it is well worth keeping an idea out. They also do a lovely range of coffee and often have samples for you to try. Some of the other products such as the cups and teapots can be slightly expensive so if is worth waiting for the sales before buying these items. The staff are helpful and will answer any queries. Well worth popping in to if your are passing by.

This is a lovely little gem in ipswich, the sort that discerning tea drinkers should go visit. They have lots of different fruit teas, and many well known scented teas like earl grey etc. The coffee syrups are a must for all you coffee lovers and a dash of flavour in your hot drink is lovely in colder weather, makes you feel very pampered. There are a great selection of cups, mugs, tea pots and other nice gift ideas for all your tea and coffee drinking friends. The staff do know their stuff and can be great help if you are unsure what to get for a gift. I visit here and always feel that it is money well spent. Be careful if visiting with kids in tow as there are lots of breakables in this shop and kids always want to pick every thing up.

Tea shops are likely to get me excited. I love to be able to browse, and smell, a large selection of teas; different flavours, varieties etc. Whittard's stores are great because not only can you do that but they often have a selected tea, chocolate or coffee available for taste tasting. As well as lots and lots of teas they have many other products; from tea sets, spoons, strainers, biscuits and even, at one point, a Tea Dance CD. I've always found the shop well staffed, clean and very well stocked. Although the prices, particularly of the tea sets can be very expensive.

This is a teeny little tea shop with lots of pretty things on display - so for god's sake don't go in with a massive backpack that's going to swing round and knock everything over! the old lady staff are really nice, if a bit posh, and they sell loads of nice stuff. it's particularly good for presents when people are difficult to buy for - everyone drinks tea so they have lovely selections of exotic teas, coffees and nice mugs, cups and teapots. they also sell sweets and other bits and pieces - i recently got a nice knickerbocker glory set from here which was reduced from 12 pounds to six. bargain!
