You may have heard of Wills at Home - initially an associated business of Follett Stock solicitors - but now a totally independent Will Writing and Estate Planning company. Following the retirement of their Head of Business Development David Tandy, a Solicitor and Notary Public, he merged the company with the well known and established Will Writing company Duchy Wills Ltd. run by Colin Carter, an ex HBOS manager.

We presently cover the whole of Cornwall & South West Devon and are currently the leaders in our field, with over 50 years combined experience.

As you can see, these two companies Wills at Home and Wills at Work are distinctly different to your usual Solicitors Practice or Will Writing company. Our depth of expertise in the commercial and private spheres of finance gives us a head start when looking at individuals Wills through Wills at Home, or when visiting workplaces to assist employees of companies without them having to lose time in attending solicitors who tend not to move out of their offices.

Service is paramount

Visiting clients in the comfort and privacy of their own homes at a time to suit - often evenings or weekends - is a standard feature of the service we offer. Such consultations are free of charge and without any obligation.

If a home visit is not convenient, clients now have the option of a meeting at our new office at 10-11 Lemon Street, Truro TR1 2LQ.

It's not just about 'Basic Wills'

In addition to basic Will Writing, we can advise on Inheritance Tax mitigation, protecting your home and other assets against Long Term Care Fees, and ensuring your beneficiaries do not lose out to so-called extended familiesafter your death, amongst other services such as Lasting Powers of Attorney and Living Wills.

We also offer a complimentary Will Review service to ensure clients have the most appropriate type of Will for their circumstances. All of our consultants are legally trained and accredited and are Affiliate Members of the Institute of Professional Will Writers (IPW), complying with the IPW Code of Practice which has recently been approved by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT).
