I spoke on the phone to this company to explain the exact part I needed. I was told they had the correct part in stock. On its arrival the invoice stated the part was as required. I took the part to my local mechanic who told me it was for the wrong vehicle. I have some doubt as the part was clearly labelled. To be sure, I took it to another garage and asked them to fit it. Two hours later I got the call to say, once again, this was not the correct part. On phoning wing mirror man I was then told that there are two versions for my model and the one I require is supplied only by the manufacturer. This was never mentioned on my original enquiry? To make matters worse I sent the part back as I was promised a refund. After two weeks I rang to ask where it was, only to be told they could not find the part. I was told several times over two weeks they would investigate and ring me back. Not once did the ever ring back. In the end I gave up and put in a claim with the Post Office. At the moment I am over £100 down. Do not trust this company. They only want an Easy sell, regardless if it is the correct part. I do not believe they did not get the returned part. Once they have your money their after sales service is non existent. Not a company to trust, please avoid?

I smashed my Transit-based motor-home's wing mirror whilst on holiday in Europe and wanted to arrange to get it replaced and fitted as soon as I got home as I'd a short window before I went off again. I emailed Wing Mirror Man with the details about my mirror and asked if he did a fitting service as I'm quite close to him. I got a one-line reply, which said: Is there a mirror integrated into the mirror?" Now this makes no senses and I suspect that what he meant to ask is if there's a repeat indicator in the mirror, which there isn't and I'd actually told him this is my email. I wrote back and asked him exactly what he meant and I also asked again if he did a fitting service. I got another one-line reply saying: "It will be better if you bring it in and we can give you a quote." He still did not mention whether or not he offered a fitting service! So I wrote back explaining that I really did need to know if he offered a fitting service as I needed to get it all set up in advance. That was a week ago and I've not had a response. He obviously isn't interested in offering the most basic level of customer service. He quite clearly doesn't read emails properly and take in what is written and I can honestly say that I have never had such appalling service from any Internet supplier. Keep well away from this firm. He may well send you a wing mirror but if you want anything in the way of a bit of extra information he simply couldn't care less. Dreadful service, dreadful firm, dreadful man!
