Yacht Equipment is a sailing and watersports chandlery. We specialise in chandlery, equipment and clothing (wetsuits, waterproofs, lifejackets and buoyancy aids) for dinghy sailing, yacht and small boat sailing and a variety of other watersports. We are located in Danbury (near Chelmsford) Essex, on a through route to the sailing areas on the river Blackwater and river Crouch and we are very near to the Chelmer and Blackwater navigation.

We stock clothing (wetsuits, rash vests, waterproof clothing, footwear for the boat) for you and the kids. We also sell buoyancy aids and lifejackets for you, the kids and for the dog. We sell surf shorts and a casual range also.

Out watersports gear is suitable for yacht sailing, small boat (dinghy sailing), jet skiing, water skiing, canoeing or kayaking, or canal boat sailing and just about any other sport in and around the water.

Our chandlery includes bags and luggage, books, charts, dvds, boat fittings (blocks, bolts, stainless steel screws, cleats, shackles and hooks). Also rigging and rope, bailers, tiller extensions, rudder hardwear. For maintaining your boat - paint, antifouling, undercoat, marine cleaners, fillers, fiberglass repair kits, epoxy glue and fillers, adhesives and sealants and sale repair tape. Plus navigation equipment, clocks for boats and race watches and much more.

We make up strops and wire rigging to order and also available via our on-line shop.

From the A12, take the A414 in Maldon direction (junction 18). Drive for about 2 miles and you will reach Danbury village. Keep on this road (you are now on Danbury Main Road) and we are situated on the right, before Danbury Church.
