Welcome to Yew House Bed & Breakfast my home

My name is Robert Stewart.

I welcome all my guests whether for a one night stay or the business person who may need a week or more at Yew House Bed & Breakfast

If you are visiting Crowborough, the Ashdown Forest, Barnsgate Manor, Rotherfield, Uckfield, Tunbridge Wells, Lewes or surrounding area. For a Wedding, Christening, House hunting, Job interview, Family party, Training course

Maybe you are visiting a friend or relative at the Hoarder centre, Crowborough hospital or at one of the many private nursing homes and hospitals in the area, and need short term accommodation or just wanting a place to relax to for a weekend away with a quiet walk on the Ashdown Forest or visit one of the many National Trust properties.

Yew House Bed & Breakfast is well supplied with public transport links There is a bus stop is close by is Green lane Passing bus numbers are 229, 29, going to Tunbridge Wells, Uckfield, Lewes, and Brighton.

Crowborough railway station is approximately 1/2 mile from Yew House B&B with trains to London hourly.

The local community of Jarvis Brook is within easy walking distance and has a good selection of restaurants and small shops. There are also 4 or 5 National Trust properties with in a 10 mile radius of Crowborough, not to mention Royal Tunbridge Wells (6 miles) the old market town of Heathfield (8 miles) and picturesque villages of Rotherfield (2 miles) Mayfield (5 miles), Eastbourne (18 miles) and Brighton (20 miles) Gatwick is airport (18 miles)

I have a good choice of well appointed bedrooms for the family holiday or business person wishing to stay with me at Yew house bed and breakfast.
All two bedrooms have TV Ironing board and Iron tea coffee making free wi fi guest garden room use while owner is at home tub chairs to the rooms


A Double bedroom with En-Suite



A Single room with dedicated bathroom not en-suite.



All rooms are covered by wireless LAN (wi-fi)

Prices include all taxes and a full English or Continental breakfast

Double room with En Suite £70.00 includes local sussex breakfast



Single with Dedicated Bathroom £40.00 includes local sussex breakfast



A travel cot and a high chair are available Free

There are discounts on longer stays

There is a £1.00 administration charge for Debit cards and £1.80 administration charge for credit card per transaction (this is charged by the card company and is not included in the room price)




Use of the internet PC. Wi-Fi Lan connectivity. (subject to fair usage)

TV and Radio, with FreeView giving over 60 channels of entertainment

Hospitality tray (tea coffee chocolate etc.) Sowing kit. Hair dryer.

Iron and Ironing board on request. A cot and a high chair are available on request at time of booking at no charge.

There is also a discount on stays longer than 7 nights.

If you would like a simple evening meal please tell me at breakfast on the morning you want the evening meal. 2 courses £15.00 per person. The evening meal is at 7pm.

A simple packed lunch (sandwich, fresh fruit, cake, drink) £7.00 ordered the night before.

I now accept credit and debit cards I can also accept Cash or cheque with a valid guarantee card I can invoice your company direct by prearrangement with your company accounts department.
