It you want a camera shop with staff that know their stuff this is it but if you want a camera shop that actually supports photographers instead of trying to make a profit off every little thing this certainly isn't. Have bought from them in the past and needed a 1/4 inch tripod thread for a couple of hours as I had left mine at home, offered them a couple of quid and they tried to charge me £5. It might not be a lot but I know when someone is trying to rip me off. Was going to to drop a couple of grand on equipment next month but I surely won't be doing it here. They might have a monopoly in York now but complacency is a dangerous thing. Rude service.

THE BEST SERVICE IN YORK
OVER THE LAST TWELVE YEARS I HAVE BOUGHT ALL MY CAMERA EQUIPMENT HERE, MOST RECENTLY THE CANON EOS 300D. I CANNOT RECOMEND THESE GUYS HIGHLY ENOUGH,THEY ARE EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND YOU ARE GUARANTEED A VERY FRIENDLY WELCOME. TRY THEM. PRICES ARE GOOD TOO. LOADS OF THANKS CAROLYN
