Appalling service

Used this company yesterday and we can honestly say that we are appalled by the service we received. It was a house move and I had spoken to him previously to get a quote which he advised £30. All other quotes were £30-35 and we chose him as he was a company. He turned up and his first comment was 'is It all this?' in an extremely rude manner. I said it was a house move and had already explained in detail On the phone what needed to be moved. Bearing in mind we weren't moving sofas, beds, white goods etc. the only large items we had were a coffee table, dining table, tele and dismantled wardrobes. We had also moved all of the stuff into one room for him so he didn't even have to go upstairs. We were moving literally 2 minute drive away. Me, my house mate and her dad also helped. It took approx 15 mins to load the van and he complained all the way. Comments and muttering under his breath for example 'you two have got this for nothing you know' 'is there much else?' and 'it's like a wizards sleeve up there.' in the end we just wanted to get rid of him and couldn't understand why he was being so rude and unhelpful. The whole move took 1hr 30 mins and he got £50 in the end as our new landlady had offered him an extra £20 to move some furniture into the garage for her. I wish I could get £50 for 90 minutes work! I really would not recommend this company to anyone and will not be using him again. We have never been spoken to before like that by anyone or been made to feel so uncomfortable in our own home. At the end of the day it is his job and that is what he is getting paid to do! Do not use him!!
