About
The Yushikai Karate Academy teach Shotokan Karate and are affiliated to the JKA. Our Chief Instructor is Dave Paulus (4th Dan) and we enjoy regular courses and gradings with JKAE Chief Instructor, Sensei Ohta (6th Dan). Beginners are welcome at our new full-time training facility in Billericay.

We are affiliated to the Japan Karate Association (JKA) and enjoy regular visits from the JKA England Chief Instructor at our academy. Academy Chief Instructor is fully insured, holds CRB certification and coaching qualifications and is a 3rd Dan Black Belt of the JKA, he has also trained at the JKA HQ in Tokyo, Japan.
