I share the really positive experiences that other people have had. My camera was repared on the same day for a fraction of what others would have charged, He knows his stuff. However the story of the lost Sony camera and the seemingly chaotic state of the shop suggest that it's a good idea to come back after two days rather than two weeks to collect your camera

The first thing you notice when you walk into the London Camera Repair Centre, Notting Hill is the state of the shop, it is very messy and I thought this was due to an excentric shop owner. Its not! I left a very expensive camera with this 'company' and was told if he could fix it, I would only have to pay £70 and if not I would get my camera back. I thought this was a good deal because Sony would of charge me £120 so I left it with him. After two weeks I called and over the period of 2 months he proceeded to give me excuse after excuse. Eventually he told me he had lost my camera and refused to give me adequate compensation. When we went to court he lied that I had collected the camera. Anyway the judge saw through this and I won. If you leave your camera with this man, make sure you get a receipt. BEWARE, you have been WARNED!

The owner of ths small camera repair shop is a genuine expert of his field. Extremely knowledgeable and skilled. I brought in a 1978 Konica C35 which had broken flash and leaking light seals. He fixed both problems and cleaned/serviced the camera for just £30. Plus he's a really nice man!

My old SLR film camera was leaking light and I needed it fixed quick as was going away the next day. So I called round at least 20 camera repair places. Every single one said at least 2 - 3 days and prices varied between £70 - £100. Finally called this man he said £25 done in a day. Good as his word did it in a day and tested my camera out working like new. GO TO THIS MAN.

My camera got drenched in the rain and I was was sure it was done in. He made me an offer that if he fixed it the cost would be £69 but if he didn't there would be no cost at all to me. Really helped settle that dilemma of whether to even attempt to get it fixed or just go ahead and get a new camera. He is a lovely, incredibly knowledgeable man and my camera is working even better than before.

Dropped our digicam in the sand at the beach. Took same camera to Jessops where they said wasnt worth repairing and to get a new one. This guy fixed it in a few days for £48 quid! Brilliant service, operates out of a hole in the wall - really knows his onions.

I went with a problem that other rated camera repairer's told me was not repairable this man laughed and had it ready for me in two days. For people who need their camera looked at by someone who knows his stuff this man is a REAL find.
