I consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur on cream teas however the cream tea at Shellys whose scones are made each day on the premises was out of this world, they are by far the best i have experienced anywhere in england this ioncludes hotels like the Dorchester park lane, add to this the warrm welcome and fresh enviroment you really must experience this tea rooms if you are in the area

i'll have to agree although i haven't tried the scones as of yet 'but i challenge anyone to find a jacket potatoe baked as well as these and the size is a sight to believe washed done with a real ice cream milk shake not enough room for dessert but my 9 year old made sure she had enough .we were also approached by the gentle giant of an owner who informed us that there is also an identical tea room in st margarets next door to dover . which will try out on our next visit this direction .if only they would expand to norwich i'm sure if they did i could say goodbye to my hour glass figure.must just mention the book swap service what a refreshing service keep up the good work
