Don't even bother
I recently visited the shop in the metrocentre. The window display looked reasonably good so thought it would be worth popping in with my fiance to see what designers they stocked. After spending 25 minutes rummaging through rails of dresses I decided it was time to leave. All the time we were in the shop we were ignored by the shop staff, who were far too busy having an important gossip behind the desk. We were not the only couple who left because of the total lack of service. I'm surprised this shop is still open, since refusing to acknowledge customers must mean they don't sell much.

Shocking
Rude, underhanded and uncaring. You only get one special day don't ruin it by going to this store. If you do buy from here double check your purchase for damage as once you leave the shop with it they are laughing at you and you will be left with the damaged item. However they don't tell you this as you are buying just incase you notice the fault that is already there and that would be bad for their business. I hope trading standards get so many complaints about these women that they have to close and can't ruin anyone else wedding.

Very Helpful
When i picked my wedding dress from this shop i was measured,Wendy very helpful she said when you recieve the dress it will be altered nearer to my wedding date,for example length and as i have lost weight it needs altering.Of course with extra cost. Wendy did say she has her own seamstress and would make an appointment which i have.I found Wendy extremely helpful.

Don't go there!
My daughter has had the mst awful experience at Wedding Secrets at The Metro Centre. She thought she'd chosen the dress of her dreams. She was told it would be altered exactly how the fitter said it would so we paid half the price as a deposit. When it eventually came in, Wendy, the owner said they would never have said it could be altered to the way we described. We were sold the dress on false information. When we sais we weren't paying the balance until we'd seen the seamstress she went ballstic and started ranting and raving, was very aggressive and threatening. My daughter won't go back to the shop and we can't get our £410 deposit back. I think they are in financial difficulties and that the owner was distresses - my daughter is placid and she had her in tears. The outburst was totally unprovoked. Definitely avoid this place like the plague!
